Based on the data we generated, we suspect that the
functions
fall off exponentially with the distance from the point where they are 1.
Here is a graph of a
function restricted to a line:
The property of falling off exponentially is not found in the
functions on the line, and it makes sampling on the gasket somewhat
easier, with respect to how quickly these sums will converge.
