Exponential Decay

Based on the data we generated, we suspect that the $\psi$ functions fall off exponentially with the distance from the point where they are 1. Here is a graph of a $\psi$ function restricted to a line:

The property of falling off exponentially is not found in the $\psi$ functions on the line, and it makes sampling on the gasket somewhat easier, with respect to how quickly these sums will converge.
